Doing it for the dogs

We did it!!!

Here is team Dales of Geelong:

Inky Pup

Mongel Bear aka Molly

the very funny Max

Pekoe (isn't she beautiful)

Lili (sniffing Pekoe's butt)

Roxy (crazy and beautiful, a dalish combination)

the delightful Winnie

Georgia (who is Inky's sister, from the same litter and who, by coincidence, lives in the next suburb)

Georgia's sister Adelaide whom she lives with was also there but was too busy to attend the photo shoot.

We also had "Bima" a beautiful blonde Airegirl support team Dales of Geelong, however, she had another group she was there with so there's no piccie of her either.

As a special guest we had the very smart and fit (a good combination, they say) Ruby attend. She is a Brittany dog and came down from Melbourne to be there with us.

After about an hour and a half of talking, sniffing and marking the team's surrounds it was time to get going...

and drop some quality smelly deliveries to wake the pinkies up...

We completed the lap around the park (about 2km), claimed our certificate of achievement , had a quick look around the event stage and then it was off to the cafe with our little group to sit in the sun and grab some nosh...

We said good bye to our friends in Geelong and then it was off to Melbourne (about 1 hr's drive away) to raise some more funds. How could you resist us??

We finished the day off with dinner at grandma and grandpa's...

before collapsing on their kitchen floor...

We were so tired, we don't even remember the drive back or being tucked in at home...

Nigh nigh,

INKY and MOLLY

  1. Great job you two!! Looks like you had a ton of fun and for such a good cause. Lots of Dales there too. We love to get together with fellow terriers and find out the latest news.

What in the world is your grandparents floor made of?? It is SO shiney and clean. If we were there dripping water on it it would not look quite so bright!!

  2. We're so glad you did it! We were going to do it, too, here in Colorado. A couple of weekends ago. But it was cold and rainy and we copped out. Ours was called the Furry Scurry. We'd've been scurrying, all right!

It looks like it was a great day ... and night. Good friends, good food, good cause. And GREAT neck rolls.

    Rest well, you deserve it,
    Jake and Fergi

  4. Hi Inky and Molly

What a great day you had. Well done on the walk and to all the other dogs as well. That was some turn-out and great photos of all your friends.

We love the last two photos the best - you both collasped on the kitchen floor and then tucked up in bed!! Wish I got tucked in like that!

We did the Million Paws Walk in Sydney. We only met 4 other dales. We think there are lots more in Victoria than NSW.
