Birthday Madness on the Beach

Hi, Molly here.

Where was I? Right, it was my birthday and we were on the way down to the beach.

We stopped at the pet store on the way so I, the birthday girl, could choose a special treat for my lunch. Easy done, I thought, I'll have one of those...



Or at least one of those...



But apparently it had to be of the dead sort so we headed over to the bar...



And I got to choose some very tasty looking roo sticks...



When we finally got to the beach, it was time to let loose and get cracking with the birthday madness...



I got so excited, I had to do a wee there and then (I usually head up the dunes a bit but I had no precious time to waste on my birthday)...



It was a fabulous day and even dad got the hairy sticks out (you can biggify this image so you can see just how hairy they are, just like ours)...



I was filled with birthday confidence and even went for a dip myself (I usually don't really do the ocean thing, it's more Inky's métier)...





Then, a good session of bitey-face (or mongreling-around as we often refer to it)...





Until I flopped on the ground with exhaustion...



I sure was ready for a nap there and then, but apparently there was more.
Dad said, there would be some more presents hidden in the sand for me...
